Nice albeit chilly ride

For today the Dutch Honda CBR Club had planned a group ride through the province called Drente, but because of expected sub-zero temperatures (around 32F for those who are metric-challenged), the ride got cancelled.
But since I didn't have anything better to do I decided to go anyway.
The start and finish of the ride was at the entrance of the Dutch TT race track in Assen.
Unfortunately it was closed, must've been too cold.

Besides the usual refueling stops (gas,
hot tea, hot food), I also stopped over at the memorial site for 'Kamp
Westerbork', a WW2 Nazi transit
camp.
Sites like that always serve as a reminder of how bad humans can get.
Found out that my gear which is fine for the one hour commute at these temperatures does get a bit chilly after more than 3 hours on the road.
