While waiting for news from IBM on an issue with delays in audio & video in on-line meetings at a customer with ST 7.5.1 CF1 that I've posted about in the BP and ST forum, I decided to give ST 8 a try since it was released earlier this week.
I Installed Domino 7.0.3 in vmware, installed ST8 (configured to use the domino directory, just like the customer's environment), and lo and behold: about half a second delays in video and a full second delay in audio.
Why can I do AV conf calls with Skype across the world without this discrepancy, but not with sametime running on a box sitting on the floor next to me?
